Find a farmer with fields by the Wabash.

I would say that it's going to take more than 2 postings before anybody from around that area will give up any secrets. joeyb probable gave you the best advise for someone new to that area and that is find the birds and follow them from day to day and be prepared to knock on a lot of doors. About an hour north on US 41 you have Willow Slough and LaSalle state fish and wildlife areas. Good Luck.

We go up to Willow Slough a couple times a year. It can be good if you draw well. They also have blinds built that are pretty comfortable. Would be good for the kids.

Ow trust me featherduster. I know all of that. That is how I got all my fields and hunting land up home. I was just not sure if any one new if there was any public places not to far away. But thank all of you for the info.
