The same. I think it'll be another tough year to score a good bird.

I think it will improve a lot..... assuming we don't have the weather problems we had last season.... I know that not many birds around here were taken.... and I personally saw less than half the number of birds I have seen in years past....

I say up. More hunters + more birds = greater harvest.

Should be a dandy season as most states had a good 06 hatch & great 07 hatch! Just my humble opinion!

Last years weather really had 'em tight lipped where I was hunting..... I ate tag soup last season and I vow not to let that happen again......therefore I'm bringing along a frozen Tom, just so I can shoot a turkey one way or another.

With all the jakes we saw last year hopefully better for my Dad and I. When I was "up to the country" a couple weeks ago there was still snow on the ground. I saw a LOT more turkey tracks than deer tracks. Some were big old gobbler tracks. Hopefully they will still be in the same general area come the opener.

I think it will be another tough season. Many of the guys who hunt in Parke Co. where I hunt did not harvest a bird last season and these guys are really good turkey hunters.I spend late March and the early part of April in a blind photograghing turkeys and last season I did not see one jake in either the photo or the hunting season.
