Boys, just got back yesterday, from our trip. As promised, here are some pics. My son and I had a great time. The area we hunted was wild and very remote. We saw an incredible amount of game. cow cape buff my son's cow cape buff my son's hippo my tuskless cow elephant Here are some misc. wildlife pics. 65 lb. african catfish. Hope you like the pics. We hunted with Martin Pieter Safaris in the Omay consevancy of Zimbabwe. Wild and remote with over 1.2 million acres, along beautiful lake kariba. maddog

Looks like you and your son had a successful hunt! nice looking rifle, is it the same one in each photo and what caliber(s) were you using? thanks for posting the photos.

We each had a Ruger No. 1, 375 H&H mag. If you look at the pics, closely, mine has a black recoil pad, and my son's had a red one. It was the only way we could tell them apart. ;D maddog

We are doing the two cow cape buff as a euro mount on a plaque. My son is having the hippo tusks mounted on a wooden plaque of the african continent. Also, he is having a footstool made out of some of the hippo hide. Nothing can be done with the elephant, because tuskless cows are non exportable.

Probably should have done this a few months back, but I forgot. Here is a couple pics of what we did with the trophies. I don't have a pic of my son's footstool, but here is what I did with my cape buff head and what he did with the hippo tusks. His hippo was absolutely huge, and my cow cape buff was a big ole girl. ;D Maddog
