The 2007 fall turkey season is history after today..
I haven't heard about very many getting killed.
I know I scared the pee jabbers out of a jake, but that was it.
I did pass a hen and 3 poults last night as they were 40 yards away. A little too far for a small vitalled turkey bird....

Gave up on deer for a few days and took the shotgun today. Did some spot and stalk and came back with a Jake. 7" Beard ![](http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e291/hardwickbv/100_1511.jpg) Bob

I did not even see a turkey this fall. I don't know where they are/went. There was not even any sign where I hunted and there are always turkeys there.

I bumped 2 off the roost heading out Saturday morning. Fall 2007 will be a memorable turkey season for me with my first bird.

I bought the tags because there was 1 there everytime I'd go back; since I had the tags - no where to be seen. If the're back now I'm going to be hot!

Glad I didn't buy a tag after all this year. I saw none during season, but had six, yes SIX big, fat, mature toms walk past my stand last weekend at thirty yds.

I think they know when the season is out. I still hate turkey's.
