Hello everyone, been a while since I have been on. Getting itchy to go chase them little boogers. Always have a blast with my brother and dad. Has anyone every used a mojo dove or one of the wind powered decoys before. New to Indiana hunting so was was wondering if they were legal here?? I was looking into getting one but figured I would ask before hand to see if they are worth the $40 or not.

Waste of money, find their flight path and sit nearby. Yes I have tried regular decoys and hunted with a Mojo dove, both were a waste of time, effort and $.

I have the wind mojo dove and love it... as long as there is wind. I just got another one a few days ago at Walmart for $12.

Tried the battery powered mojo last year and the thing is AWESOME! Paired it with 8 ground setters and had dove actually landing in our spread! I have been dove hunting for 22 years and I was amazed at the number of birds that thing pulled in!

Doves have to be the easiest migratory bird to decoy. Never tried the mojo, but used to use a half dozen sitters on a round bail and would just shoot them as hey came in. Man we used to shoot a lot of doves.

Have and use the mojo dove and decoys. We shoot more birds using the decoys and mojo. I think it's worth the $. Not saying you can't shoot them without because you definitely can. We just found the birds were a little less weary with the decoys.

The mojo is definitely worth the $, zero doubt. I hunt huge fields and the flight path can easily be several different places out of range. Granted I've always done well when the birds were there, but a mojo adds a confidence for them to come in like you wouldn't believe. And i've used it for several seasons.

MOJO doves are legal and effective in Indiana. More effective than a mojo duck for sure.

When the birds aren't flying well, the mojo will give you an edge. It works better early in the season. Also I saw a pair of hunters in a field with a mojo DC and they were pulling in doves when no one else was getting action. When they have been shot at the doves just buzz the decoy but usually within range.

I've seen them come right in to the MOJO, it can attract some. But then when the field has 8 MOJOS going down the line I think the pulling power somwhat diminished In moderate shooting I've seen them zoom in and buzz the MOJO. Also seen them in moderate shooting come in and LAND by it! IMHO it can help get some birds but it aint a super magnet. Don't think it'll make a bad spot good, but if in the right area it could help enough to warrant dragging it out.
