I'm looking for suggestions to improve the sights on my Buckmark Camper. I'm not too enthused about trying to mount a scope on the lil dude, so I thought about "dabbing" a lil flourescent on the front sight. Basically, the black on black just won't cut it for me. Gun is used mostly for plinkin' and tree rats.
I did a search (thinking this topic had been discussed here) but found nothing. Maybe I missed it or just don't know how to search properly??
Any links, thoughts or suggestions?

A guy on another forum that hunts exclusively with revolvers has said many times that he narrows the front blade on his Ruger wheelguns down. It opens up the gap in the rear notch when lining up the sights and makes it easier to see in low light. It takes a mill to do it right, so it is probably a job for a gunsmith if you decide to go this route.

Good stuff danf. I just joined and checked out 6 shot and his advice and pics. I've got a good friend as a machinist so I'm going to give him a call.

If you value your wallet, stay out of the classifieds. Though if you see something you want, you'll have to beat Dave (dbd870) to it.........!

I checked them with a magnet and it appears they are polymer as you mentioned. I may try the fluorescent tip for now and do something different in the future.
