I took this young bird on a day after I thought my personal season was over. I found a couple extra hours to take off one afternoon and had three birds come into the field. They took out with a hen and I slipped in to try to find them. I was pressed for time I had to be home by 6:30 and it was 5:30 at the time. I happened to see them before they saw me and in a tree line clearing I watched the first bird slip over the ridge with the hen. I knew the others would follow so I got my shot ready and they stepped into range. For a turkey with me it is about 30 yards. at 5:45 the hunt was over. I came home and got a photo taken with my 7 month old son and thought i would share it with you guys. Rod
