I'm not noted for one to keep his mouth shut.
I don't like the mounts at all. The feathers aren't laying flat, and the skin isn't smooth like they would be on a live bird. I have a few birds here that were done in the mid '70's by a buddy when we were in college that look better than that.
I don't practice taxidermy, but I have my ethics.
If they were that shot up, and I was the bird stuffer, I'd have told you just that, i.e. that I couldn't do the birds justice because of the condition that they were in. I wouldn't want birds out there looking like that with my studio name on them.

I agree with you. But like I said he has done many other mounts for me and all turned out great.
