Well, I got a call from my taxidermist today and here are my birds from Maryland. I’m kind of disappointed in them because they kind of look……..dirty. It’s hard to explain, I guess I was just hoping for something more. Attachments:

Did you have them mounted by a taxidermist from the East coast or by someone from around here.

I see what you mean! Not very vibrant. The eyes and face don't look realistic either.

It was a local guy that has done 3 birds 2 fish and a deer for me and all of them have turned out really good. Not sure if it was just the salt water or the 4 shots it took to take them down. They are really tuff birds.
