i am looking for someone near brazil indiana that is willing to give me permission to hunt their land for deer and turkey. i am 33 years old, very responsible and very honest. this past spring i lost my spot to hunt that i have hunted for the last 25 years. it has been a hard blow for me since then and i am trying my best to find someone to help me out. its hard to find places to hunt these days due to the fact that land owners find it hard to trust just anyone on their property. i understand very much where they are coming from. i would like to mention that i would be willing to share my harvest with the landowner if they were interested. i process my own deer and package it. i would be grateful to share. i hunt deer from october 1st to january and i use my bow the whole time except for firearms season and muzzleloader season i break out my 50cal a few times. so i only hunt with a muzzleloader when it comes to guns. spring turkey season i use a bow as well and i really dont hunt them in the fall because im concentrating on the deer season. i can provide excellent references if needed. if you think you can help me out please let me know and i would love to come out and meet you so we can get to know each other and i would love for you to show me around. i would also like to add that i am drug and alcohol free. you can send me a message on here or you can text or call me at 812-208-6593 anytime. if no answer then please leave me a brief message and i will get back with you as soon as i can. thanks in advance and i look forward to meeting you!

Piercings, not trying to be a butt but most guy's on here are in the same boat as you on finding land to hunt. It is hard to come by. I would start with asking some close family friends that might have some land and then go from there. You might even put an ad in the paper or something. Sell the fact that you would help out and do some things on the farm or help fix something up on the land if they allowed you to hunt. When I got my last property to hunt it was a family friend and a nice lady. She allowed me to bow hunt only and if I saw anyone on the property to ask them to leave. After the first three years she told her son and he wanted me and my brothers to come hunt on his 40 acres. I started with 7 acres and then ended up with 50.... I understand your issues. I fortunatly don't have them because I live in the land owned by uncle Sam.. LOL... But I wanted a place that didn't have 100 hunters in it. So I had to do some homework. I got a plat book for my two counties and just did some looking at places I thought I would like to hunt. Looked up the names and then made my way to their places. The one place I wanted just so happened to be land that was owned by some friends. It was all good. But I had to do some homework. Sounds like your on the right track but just don't count on finding anything on here... Cause most of us are still looking for other places as well... Good luck!! BB

You have probably 30,000 acres of good public hunting ground less than an hour south of you; Minnehaha, Green Sullivan, Hillenbrand & Goose pond fish and game areas. Some darned good hunting can be had on Indiana public lands if you put your time in to learn the areas.
