Is it just me or did they raise the price of all most all chemicals used in control of weeds and brush? I want to say everything has almost doubled since last year at the time... I emailed a company up north (Townsend Corp) for a price list to see if they raised their prices but would guess they did since everyone else has seemed to raise their prices. Man getting hard for a small owner to take care of his land. BB

I buy generic Round Up at Rural King for 34.95 for 2 1/2 gallons and 2-4-D for about the same price. I usually spray @ 1.5% which is 1.5 gallons to 100 gallons of water. I seldom buy any other chemicals other than fertilizer. h.h.

Yea I just picked up the Glyphosate at Rural King last week. Cheaper if you buy the 15 gallons though. But some other things like Element 4 and Arsenal Powerline and a few others are or have doubled in price since last year.... BB

Could be but those are usually added at the end. And you would only have once charge for ordering a bunch of things. But you could be right. Just think its messed up that both those and a couple other items I got last year were half what they are listed at right now. BB

Freeman Field? I'm not from Seymour but I'm assuming that is in Seymour? At that price I can drive an hour to pick it up. Parrothead, What has been your experience using it?

They sell it in 500lb pound sacks also that they will load for you. I have had nothing but good luck with it in the garden, and as food plot fert. They have wierd hours like 7-3:30 so call first to get the hours. IF you call any of the plants and ask them for the number at the compost plant in Freeman Field they will give it to you. Freeman field is just an industrial park with a bunch of factories. If you have sinus issues you wont when you leave there. It is off Highway 50 on the west side of town. Where you comen from?
