For those of you that frequent our site its no longer in existance. proboards will not allow us to have any forums involving gun sales. Therefore we have deleted our account, we are not going to give in to their anti gun stance. A new site with a new host should be up soon.

Good!!!! Woody are you going to do the same? What Hunting Indiana will and will not do is in the future and is not up for open public discussion.

On a personal note: Outdoor Product Exchage, O.P.E. Retrievers, JW Decoys will NO LONGER be supporting www.hunt-indiana.com. <EDIT> Let's see.. Your free of charge banners here supported this site in which way?
Hunting Indiana is a not for profit site and you were allowed to have your banners for your FOR profit sites placed here. Almost every post you have made recently was about your businesses.
Somehow I do not see that you are "supporting this site." Seems to be the other way around.
I've asked you to take this to PMs. If you insist on attacking me and this site in an open forum you will no longer be allowed to post here.
Understood?

Wrong, I've donated on more than one than one occasion. From stock that I paid for Woody.
I'm done arguing with you about this, do as you wish sir.

Sounds like you cut your nose off to spite your face and wanting Woody to do the same. You sacrificed a piddly site that had more staff checking in daily than it had members and you want Woody to give up the best hunting site in Indiana? Somehow that does not compute.
It seem that the Delta site went downhill fast after Scott gave you the reins.
BTW - Aren't you the same "site supporting" jwkimber45 on IndianaSportsman.com? As I recall they don't allow gun and ammo sales there either.
From IndianaSportsman
Why the difference on here? You just got a hard on for Woody?

LOLOL
BuddyLee I'd be careful talking about things of which you know nothing about. We did not "cut off our nose" we simply told ProBoards that we were not going to bow down to their stupid anti-gun sensorship.
As far as the Delta Chapter goes our fundraising hands are tied because of new enforcement in the Indiana gaming laws and red tape between the state and Delta National. Our local chapter is doing what we always have minus the fundrasing right now. We are sending a kid to the Kelly Camp as we always do, we did the Deer and Waterfowl Expo as we always do, we had a spring shoot as we always do......we will have a banquet as soon as we can. Any more baseless "spears" you care to throw ??

We did not "cut off our nose" we simply told ProBoards that we were not going to bow down to their stupid anti-gun sensorship. Wasn't much of a nose to begin with. A post or two every four or five days.As far as the Delta Chapter goes our fundraising hands are tied because of new enforcement in the Indiana gaming laws and red tape between the state and Delta National. Our local chapter is doing what we always have minus the fundrasing right now. We are sending a kid to the Kelly Camp as we always do, we did the Deer and Waterfowl Expo as we always do, we had a spring shoot as we always do......we will have a banquet as soon as we can. Hopefully the chapter will carry on as it is a worthy cause. The discussion was about the site itself.Any more baseless "spears" you care to throw ?? Just the one that you did not answer. When are you going to put pressure on the IndianaSportsman site against their "no guns and ammo" sales policy or withdraw your "member sponsorship" there like you did here?

Mr. Ward I am sorry to see you feel the way you do because you cannot have it your way. This web site has been used by you for promoting your decoy and dog training business as well as the private organizations you support. I personally cannot remember you ever engaging in conversations of any kind other than those related to your businesses, hobbies or again personal beliefs. I find it very sad that the owner of this site has allowed you the opportunities to do the above mentioned and then you attack him on another web site just because he runs his site the way he does which obviously you have approved of since March 27 2006. POSTED BY MR.WARD ON THE THE REFUGE DATE DATED 5-19-2011 On a personal note: Outdoor Product Exchage, O.P.E. Retrievers, JW Decoys will NO LONGER be supporting www.hunt-indiana.com. The owner of this site is bowing down the communist sensorship set forth by the hosting company ProBoards, and he is not allowing our Delta Waterfowl chapter to post its announcement regarding our situation involving ProBoards shutting down our site due to thier anti-gun and anti-freedom policies. I can't support a hunting and supposedly pro-gun, pro-freedom site/owner will hand over OUR freedoms as americans due simply to "policy" - stand up, fight, find a new hosting company, we did, inside of an hour....Hey Woody William, this is called standing up for whats right, maybe someday you can grow a spine and try it out..... Mr. Ward this only goes to show all of us how immature you are. I wish you the best of luck in your self endeavors, can't wait to see your web site, hope it's run better than the DELTA site.

What gets me is that the Delta group probably continued using Proboards after they made their anti-gun selling policy. It didn't seem to be an issue until their board got deleted.
Maybe one of them could explain why they didn't find a different hosting company immediately (since it only took an hour) after Proboards made the no selling guns policy?

I'm still waiting on his answer to my question of: When are you going to put pressure on the IndianaSportsman site against their "no guns and ammo" sales policy or withdraw your "member sponsorship" there like you did here?
I haven't seen him all over the net calling Steve out like he has Woody or telling people to withdraw their support for IndianaSportsman. So what gives?

I'm done arguing with you about this, do as you wish sir. Is there something difficult to understand about this??? Featherduster it has nothing at all to do with me "not getting my way" It has to do with standing up for our rights as freedom loving americans. This policy of ProBoards is apparently a new thing, or at a minimum being newly enforced. As John said I knew nothing of it until the last min. I seem to remember numerous firearms and related items being sold/traded ect here until just recently. Bowing down to this type sensorship is rediclious and just one small more step toward the tyrany that so many would like for us. I will not stand for it. You guys have fun mouthing off about me and talking about things which you have no knowledge or understanding about what is really going on (ie - the Delta Chapter). This will be my last post as I am deleting my account. If anyone wants to discuss this further feel free to email me or call me. joshward@embarqmail.com 317-491-8854

The ProBoard policy goes back to at least last December. That is when they shut down Doug's Message Board for selling firearms. Doug's complied and they are back up and running.
I personally pulled our "classifieds" at that time and no one could post in them. Two members erroneously posted a gun for sale in the regular forums and those posts were promptly deleted and a PM sent to those posters.
Per popular request, I just recently re-instated the "classifieds" with the no firearm sales policy attached.
You are the adminstrator of your Delta forum and you should do what you think is best for YOUR forum. However, I have an obligation to over 2,700 members here that I keep this forum up and running. As I TRIED to explain to you but you would not listen, we have plans and a trigger date to put those plans in place.
I'll not let your decision influence our decision on when that will take place. Like I said, in due time.
IOW - you run your ship the way you want to and I'll run mine the way I want to. It did quite bother me that you posted all over the net what a "spineless" and "ball less" person I was and that people should not support Hunting Indiana. I considered that is very poor taste.
