As far as I'm concerned, we have been a trophy bird state ever since the first season. It's no wonder Ben Franklin admired these birds so much.

I don't know I never thought of turkey as trophey animals I let the jakes go but just so they'll gobble next year (although with my luck this year that rule might be looked at a little closer LOL). Turkeys are just fun and challenging to hunt and really fun when they do what their suposed to. I love a monster deer but big turkeys don't really mean much to me. JMO
