I boiled the legs and thighs, added some veggies and made turkey soup.
Then I ground the breast threw my grinder, added some veggies, crackers, 2 eggs and seasoning and made turkey meat loaf. Baked it at 350 for 1 1/2 hours. It was very tasty. h.h.

I haven't fixed it yet. My wife isn't into wild turkey so my youngest son and daughter-in-law are helping me research a bit into making some turkey jerky. The first batch looks to be some "teriyaki" and we'll see what goes from there.
A few years ago my wife turned the turkey into a turkey lasagna made with cream cheese instead of tomato sauce - Now that was awesome!

I usually chunk up the breasts and pan fry after the chunks are coated in seasoned flour. The legs and thighs will get brined for a few hours, then boiled for stock and turned into turkey noodle soup.

He is plucked and in the freezer awaiting Thanksgiving when he will be roasted to perfection by my wife.

marinated and grilled the breasts of the one last year; will probably do it again with this one.

Smoked whole, then some sliced and the rest diced for turkey salad. Next time will save the smoked drumsticks to add to a chili.

I usually skin mine out whole (tried plucking once ). Right now it's in the freezer probably waiting until Thanksgiving or Christmas. I'll brine it when I do fix it-not afraid to leave it in for at least a day or more. Then either fix on the smoker grill covered in cheesecloth that was soaked in melted butter (and some spices) OR in the oven in an oven bag-then I'll fix up some cornbread/sausage stuffing and fill the bird when I'm being lazy with the oven bag. Someone said to cut the ends of the drumsticks off which would help with getting the tendons out--tried that this time and it seems to work pretty well, however I usually use the drumstick meat and the leftover carcass to fix up a couple gallon of wild turkey broth. I've found that broth to be much tastier than any kind of store bought stuff. I'll fill 1 qt freezer bags with the broth, put them in the freezer and use them noodles, soups, whatever. They're really good for those times when a flu bug hits and solid food just isn't on the menu yet!!

cut in nugets then deep fried with flower mix below then some hot wing sauce got the sauce recipe off internet 1/4 cup butter 1/4 cup louisiana hot sauce dash garlic powder 2tbs brown sugar 1 tbs vinagar this is suposed to do 10 wings mix 1/2 cup flour dash pepper 1/4 teaspoon paprika and 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper to coat the nuggetts before you fry them
