Well my buddy and I went this morning, Right at day break we had a bird gobble, he was about 150yrds away and was gobblin his head off. He gobbled at everything. I gave a loud call to let him know we were there and he answered. About an hour into the hunt he finally started moving our way. Gobblin all the way, he came to the barbed wire fence and couldn't get through it and was pacing back and forth strutin and gobblin just tryin to get to the decoy's. I told my buddy if he could shoot to take him, after a 30yrd shot the bird dropped. This was awesome to call one in for my buddy, I haven't called for anyone else in awhile. His bird weighed 24lbs. with a 10in beard and a broken spur and a 28mm spur. This was my buddies biggest bird yet and I called it in for him. I was pretty happy about it and enjoyed it alot. That's awesome! A few years ago I was calling for my nephew when we pulled a double on Gobblers. There's something special about calling for another gunner. I remember getting such a kick out of watching this otherwise quiet fella explode with excitement!

Awesome job calling one in for someone else. Gotta make you feel better than popping one yourself.

I agree with Cotton I get as much or even more pleasure calling ducks for others.
