This has been coldest, windiest, most wet miserable spring I can remember. I have been reading about you folks finding buckets of mushrooms and catching stringers full of crappies and all the while we folks up here in NW Indiana are still waiting for spring. Our spring flowers look terrible, nothing is budding and the ground is cold. The other day my wife wanted to try looking for mushrooms even though I knew it was a waste of time, after about 20 min she was so cold she couldn't get back to the house fast enough. Next week opens turkey season and according to Weatherbug.com everyday all the way through Thursday there is a chance of rain or thunder showers with below normal temps and wind. ENOUGH ALREADY.

WE had it earlier this month for two days when it got near 90. Anyone think Al Gore is full of it?

Down here in central Ky, it's been raining buckets on average three times per week. We had a strong t-storm move through our area at 2:00 am EDT this morning!!!! No damage though.

I'm getting tired of the rain; I hope we don't get another flooded spring and then the rain shuts off for ages like last year.

Unfortunately I've heard 2 different long range forecasts that say just that: wet, followed by dry.
A friend of a friend has found 600 blacks up here so far. Some people have the gift!
