I was drawn for Deer Creek in Putnam Co; out by the prison. Anyone know how the bird population is out there?

It's obviously been a while since I've been through that area, but there's birds there. Not too far from the pen several years ago in the fall we were headed to a job just west of Cloverdale and the field was absolutely BLACK with turkeys. There was no way to even begin to count them. It's good territory for birds, and the state ground never allowed hunting before the land deal with the DNR so you shouldn't have too many problems finding birds.
