hey guys, i picked up a twenty gauge pump, it has a improved cylinder barrel and a gold trigger, don't think it's a 870 has no markings like my 870 definatly an old gun has a bird with wings expanded on the bottom of the grip. any info about this gun would be helpful,
thanks for looking rob

Probably a Field Grade 870.

Sounds like a Wingmaster 870, which is what they all were when they first entered on the scene. A lot of those out there now are not Wingmasters. Basicly the same gun, but they had a higher gloss blue and a walnut stock. Yes, it would be a field grade unless marked otherwise as a Skeet or Trap version.

If it is a Remington it will say it somewhere on the gun. I don't know that I have ever seen an unmarked Remington. This goes back to civil war revolvers.
