Everyone - My dad had his woods logged last fall. The logger did a very good job of doing minimal damage to the woods while taking the lumber. He created a nice trail throughout the woods that I would like to take advantage of to plant some type of food plot. The woods has thick underbruss thickets which makes hunting challenging. You don't get much warning before the deer are on you and they can sneak by under cover. My goal is to create a food plot and travel corridor to hopefully funnel the deer.
Does anyone have suggestions or recommendations on what best to plant on the trail?

Depends on how much sun light the trail will get. If sunshine is limited then grasses such as rye grass will do the best. Places sun will get on would be good for clover. h.h.
