They don't hold as many guns as advertised, particularlly when some of your guns sport scopes & slings. I've got two, and will probably add another at some point.
Definitely bolt it to the floor. An aquaintance had some bums break in his place, slide the full safe down the stairs, heavily damaging the stairs, slid it to the door, loaded it up and took it elsewhere to cut it open. they caught the dope heads by finding where they had rented an abraisive chop saw. Sad thing was, many of the guns were badly damaged and some were already sold.

It will be bolted to the floor and the back wall.

It's like a pole barn, get one bigger than what you think you will need, the heavier the better. If someone was to attempt to steal mine it would take a small army to get it out of my home. Get yourself a plug in dehumidifier rod or a rechargeable dehumidifier pad. If yours comes bolted to 4x4's leave them on, it gets it off the floor in case water ever gets around or under your safe. I prefer the dial as compared to the battery touch pad one less thing to fail. I purchased mine at Gander Mountain, they had them on sale and if you opened a credit card account you saved another 20%.

Most safes have a small hole in the top side for the cord. I have a rechargeable sold by Cabela's.

I had to drill through mine. Supposedly water tight .... no holes.

Mine has the electronic key pad. To get it out of the house the bad guys will have to tear out a wall. It was put in place and the room built around it........ While it might not last long in a fire, it's much better than nothing, and a whole lot better than nothing in regards to theft.

It is delivered and set in place. All 380 pounds of it. Menards only had two and they both sold the first day. the dleiver man said that they will be delivering the other one Thursday and it goes in a basement. I told it could be worse and have to go to a second floor. He agreed. Steiny, You are right..No way can one get 26 guns in there, unless they are all handguns. I have one "problem gun" in a Remington 870 Tb trap gun. The barrel is long and that will cut out any top shelf useage. I never use the gun so I might take the barrel off for storage. It was cold from transport so I am leaving the doors open for a day or two to warm up and dry out...I have a GoldenRod on order. So far I am satisfied..
