sailfish was 84 inches long , it was my first time deep sea fishing , it was very choppy 5 - 8 footers and the downriggers dipped a few times. I took Dramamine and still felt like I was going to throw up the entire time I was out there. We were 25- 35 miles outside of Cancun Mexico. My brother in law also caught one but not as big Attachments:

Awesome. Headed to Cancun March 9th for a week myself. Those wave's can turn a grown man into a throwing up baby in no time. (Done it.)LOL.

We went there for our honeymoon about 11 years ago. I took my wife out one day on an 8 hour tour. She started puking almost right away but stuck it out the entire trip. She really only tried to catch one fish and it ended up being a sail fish. The other guy and I were a little suprised/jealous but it ended up missing the bait. We caught dauphin, wahoo, bonita, baracuda and a few others I can't remember. It was awsome. Then my wife being so nice let me go back 2 days later by myself. It wasn't as productive but I sure did like that salt water fishing down there. It was dirt cheap too!

My father in law went with us and is anti taking anyting that isnt organic. He waited until the 1.5 hour ride out to sea to take anyting. When we got started catching bait he got sick. It was a long day for him but he toughed it out.
It wasnt easy by any means but the reward was worth it. We were the only boat in the marina that caught fish that day. Lucky Irish I guess
