This may have already been discussed here. If so, somebody just post a link and I'll go from there.
I'm looking for a good scope for a Savage model 93, .17hmr. I'm looking to stay in the 3-9X40 and around $150 (give or take a little).
Any experience and/or recommendations?

I normally wouldnt even consider a BSA scope ... but I have seen several guys running that particular model on 17's.

Same here. When my brother bought it I thought he made a mistake, but four or five years later and never a single complaint has changed my mind.

I just ordered a Nikon Prostaff 3x9x40 from Midsouth for $120. From what I've seen this is a good price. I don't have a link but their site is pretty user friendly.

Nikon's use to be very good scopes but a few years ago changed where they made them from Japan to Philippines. Quality has suffered greatly since. h.h.

Gotta go with HH on this one. I have a couple of 3200's and I LOVE them.

I always had good luck with Weaver's Rimfire Classic scopes.

Just about anything in a 3-12 power should be able to ride that gun forever.
