Buddy caught a Bald eagle in a yote set yesterday. Just walked up to it, put his arm around the wings and set it free....flew off just fine.

Crazy! I've caught owls and hawks before that wanted a piece of me! I just threw my coat over them and let them out.

Glad that guy was unhurt, I have a real soft spot for raptors.

Ive got a bald eagle feeding on my coyote bait pile of deer carcasses. The first time I saw it sitting on the pile I thought it was a red tail hawk until it flew up into a tree. First one of them I ever seen around here. h.h.

I might put it up today if it quits snowing. Right now its 6 degrees out and snowing pretty good. In a few days I'll see whats on it. Ive got one more carcass left to put on the pile, last day muzzle loader kill and its in my storage garage. Been frozen so it doesn't stink but its time to get it out of there. Usually a fresh carcass on the pile draws them in. h.h.

have you considered a carcass trail camera? I did that back in mid october after I shot my buck. I had 46 pics of coyote's and buzzards eating on my deer carcass!
