Since it's turkey season, and I'm thinking about it, does anyone know any good outfitters in Florida. I'm thinking of maybe going down there next year for a turkey hunt.

I know of three and hunted with two.Good hunts but pricey to say the least. Are you looking at guided or semi guided?

ns - who did you hunt with? guided is fine. I just got back from one I'd recommend but he is full for next year. we should have had a bird but for a number of reasons out of our control for the 2 days it just didn't happen. the good deal is no kill no pay! so i have a wad of cash to deposit and have to make another trip to Florida to chase swamp birds!

This area is some of the most pristine old Florida woods you can hunt. David Austin holds the leases and has been in business for over 20 years. The NWTF videoed hunts there last year. His hunts for this year are $1695.00 for a two day hunt with food and lodging, guides are 150.00 a day. They are real nice people. h.h.

That's the one I heard good talk about but never hunted. I hunted in the southern zone with Mike Tussey and in the central zone 2 times with Ken Mayes.Do a search on the names to find them.If you can't find them get back to me and I will dig out their cards.Ken Mayes is my pick but all were good hunts.
