OK, let me be the first to ask. If the 1.8 cartridge is allowed what are some of the calibers that will be allowed.

The 357 Herrett is legal with the current regulations- the neck just has to be shortened a bit.

The 1.8 cartridge has been proposed. www.in.gov/dnr/fishwild/files/fw-Deer_Rule_NRC_Preliminary_Jan_2011.pdf(4) A rifle must fire a cartridge that meets the following specifications: (A) Fire a bullet of three hundred fifty-seven thousandths (.357) of an inch diameter or larger. (B) Have a minimum case length of one and sixteen-hundredths (1.16) inches. [glow=red,2,300](C) Have a maximum case length of one and six hundred twenty-five thousandths (1.625) eight tenths (1.8) inches.[/glow](5) Over-and-under combination rifle-shotguns are prohibited.
