I concur. I can't comment on the pistol, but the piston driven AR upper is a solution looking for a problem that brings it's own peculiar set of problems to the table. The Ruger piston AR's in particular have been troublesome. They have not been well received.

The LC9 has my interest. I've had a great time with my LCP and would love to see how the 9 mm compares.
Besides, I like seeing the activity Ruger brings on with new products. I think it's great for the industry.

The LC9 has my interest. I've had a great time with my LCP and would love to see how the 9 mm compares. At the same height, only 1/2" shorter, and only 1/4" slimmer than my Colt Officers wearing a Star magazine follower holding 7 230 grain .45 cartridges, it don't turn me on.

Whats the over under on it being recalled?
I love my Rugers, but it seems like they are releasing things too early and having it bite them down the road.

I always see a lot of animosity toward Ruger, and I don't understand it. I have several ruger products and they have been very good, by and large. I particularly esteem the my Ranch rifle and GP100 revolver. and Ruger is one of the few big gunmakers that isn't owned by some coglomerate, so I hope they contiue to do well.
What was the Problem with the 556? Did it get recalled? Strange they would be selling uppers if they'd had problems with the rifles. Not trying to start an argument, just curious. By the science it should be a more reliable system.
