Trying to get an idea of cost for at least 2 and up to 5 tactical units in .223 for a small Police Department. With PD discount its looking about $800 each. Just wasn't sure if a better deal (factory or built) could be found?
Thanks for the help.

Log on to Rock River Arms website. On the front page at the bottom right they have three different Ar's each going for $1000.00. All tactical entry type weapons. A friend just bought four of them, 2 for nephews that are police officers, 1 for a nephew that is prior military, and 1 for himself. If you call them with the LEO discount, you may be able to get them cheaper!

My neighbor is a cop and he told me the Homeland Security Dept give out AR's to police depts. His dept got several. You might check them out first. h.h.

Here's a deal that can't be beat, but hurry, they go fast! 3 minutes after you post and the website says sold out.

They ran for a couple weeks before Christmas and sold out, then got in another shipment. I didn't check the availability before I posted. Like I said, they sell out rather quickly. Hopefully, they'll get some more in soon.

One of the manufacturers has a deal for law enforcement agencies where they lease the gun for life for some ridiculously low price like 5 bucks or 50 bucks. I can't for the life of me remember which manufacturer it is or what the exact money amount is. That's something else you might look into.

Thanks for the information guys. I've passed on all the information. Hopefully the chief can get something worked out.

I'm not sure you could "frankenstein" some rifles together for what a department could get K.I.S.S. rifles for with a LEO discount. Kiesler's in Jeffersonville pretty well panders to police departments. So much so that mere mortals are practically see through when they walk in.
