I have never hunted water fowl, but some guys from work want me to try it. I know that I need a federal duck stamp, and a hip #. But, I have a lifetime license and don't know if I need the state stamp?
thanks, Elmo

Federal duck stamp, hip card#, lifetime hunting license, permission from your wife and you are good to go.

If your lifetime is a comp and not a regular hunting license you will not need stamps but if it is a regular license then you will need to buy the state stamp.
Good luck.

Duff, I am pretty sure he still needs to purchase a federal stamp if his license is comp. I have a comp and that includes the state stamp but not the federal from what I understand.

Don't forget to hide your checkbook, atm card, and credit cards. Welcome to Waterfowlholics!

The Comp Lifetime covers state but not federal. You'll also need to get a permit for late goose season on line if you're planning to hunt the designated counties. I believe the dates are Feb 1 - 15th. www.in.gov/dnr/fishwild/3570.htm

You're correct. I wasn't meaning to imply that but certainly came out that way!
