Anyone been making anything?
My meat grinder bit the dust last month but my wife got me a 1HP Cabelas Commercial Grade Meat Grinder.
My old 1/3HP did me fine but my wife thought bigger was better and got the 1HP for Christmas. Golly what a hoss and grinds 12 pounds per minute LOL
I got a bunch of summer sausage to start making. ;D

Yep! I've turned 20 pounds of venison burger in to hickory smoked jerky compliments of an LEM jerky shooter and assorted seasonings. And I've mad two loaves of beer bread which goes great with soupd and stews.
Recipe:
3 cups of self-rising flour 3 tablespoons of sugar 1 twelve ounce beer of any flavor.
Mix ingredients in a bowl then place in a greased bread pan. Cook at 325F for 45 minutes to 1 hour.

O3A, I've had LEM Jerky cannon for a few years and it's a very good well built tool.

I'm waiting for the weather to break. I may have to fire up the smoker this weekend and do up a batch of summer sausage whilst I grill some backstraps over an oak wood fire for lunch.
