I intend to purchase a 2 to 4 row corn / bean planter to put in some plots.
Don't want any of those cheesy little "pull behind the four wheeler" models, need a real farm implement, new or used. I've got a 70HP New Holland tractor to pull it with.
Does anyone have any ideas where I could pick one up?

I had a J.D. 2 row pull type, worked ok. Traded it for a 2 row mounted Allis Challmers planter with no-till coulters, works very good, now I dont have to work the ground if I dont want to. Got it from a guy that cut down an 8 row planter into 4 two row planters. Not hard to do, just have to use a planter that each unit drives off of its press wheel. I can check with him if you need me to see if he hes any more. If not look at any small implement dealers you see along the road. I am from greensburg. Or you can call me if you have other questions. mike

I'm looking also, but have noticed price's on 2 row's are crazy. Think i'm gonna buy a 4 row because not much difference in price. Anything decent is $500 to $900 from what i've been seeing here in southern indiana.,
