I have a deer in my garage that I got yesterday. I am probably going to quarter it out today. If I put in a cooler and leave it outside or in my garage would I need to but any ice in it in this cold weather?

As long as it stays below 41 degrees in your garage you'll be fine.

AND your meat was already down below 40 all the way through....if it's not down in the 30 degree range some ice in the cooler would help bring it down.

What ever you do don't let the hide freeze on the deer. Believe me, it only takes one time and you will never let it happen again!!! h.h.

+4 Kinda like leaving your cold beer out in this weather. Dang it's hard to drink when it's froze solid.

Yup! If it's down below freezing for an extended period get that hide off.
