We had a pretty good morning Saturday. We killed 9 (and missed as many!) with a mixed bag of Mallards, Gadwall and Green Wing Teal. I was wondering what everyone else was seeing and killing?

Does time count? Had two tough days in the field the other day ducks just didn't want to play and the geese were picking us off from a long way out. Had some in the decoys but we had to set up different than we'd like and kept us from having a tremendous day. Other than that we had good time in mud, snow, and ice this past weekend.
Even had a wrestling match each morning out in the corn field before daylight!!! I pinned the guy first morning and then he got me in a gillotine the next so we are even. I am just glad nothing got broke, like bones or my glasses! It cracks me up what kind of crap we do sometimes...all in the name of good clean fun! Hope to get out around Christmas Eve and hit it real hard Jan and Feb cause December is pretty much shot for me.

I bet we could kill a few more birds if we'd spent a little less time messing with each other and a little more time messing with the birds! But that's what makes waterfowl hunting so much fun, it's a social event unlike some other types of hunting. Good luck and shoot'em in the lips!

Haven't even been out once yet this year. Been busy with life and deer hunting.
Did see probably 500 ducks going into a corn filed in Kosciusko county yesterday and again today.

Watch a thousand ducks flying around all day yesterday but could not get any to come 200 yards over to us.
