For only the second time in my 45+ years of duck hunting I bagged a drake Canvasback. A few min later I bagged a Black duck drake.
It's snowing with about 3"on the ground and several more on the way. Most shallow waters are frozen over or will be in the next day or two. Not seeing many birds, but for me I believe the best is yet to come.
