I had one in 12 gauge briefly. It was very accurate BUT the recoil was very heavy!  Get the 20 gauge version.  |

They are a great gun but they only thing I don't like about them is the box mag sticking out under the gun. If you use a rest of some kind it can get in the way. Kind of reminds me of the old Mossberg 3 shot guns that had a removable mag box. h.h. |

True and thanks guys.
Never liked box mags but being a bolt shotgun, dont see a way around it.
Far enough back to give me enough forearm for a rest but most of my "rests" are "leaners" against a tree trunk, going by memory.
So used to Remingtons I struggle with buying anything else but a slug gun built from the ground up FOR shooting slugs, it has some options I like and more common to bolt rifles than any shotgun plus they seem to "work" too.
Have to get a look at one somehow this coming summer.

They certainly have gotten very good reviews from what I've seen. I have not handled nor shot one though.

I bought one way back when they first came out. It was a shooter but I started developing a flinch and went to muzzlelaoders and never looked back. Def. go 20 guage. if I remember right it handled like my 116's and had a huge bolt handle.

Purchased one this year. It shoots better groups than anything I have ever shot in terms of a slug gun. I would definitely recommend the gun to anyone.
