Does any one know if it is illegal for felons to hunt with muzzle loaders in Indiana?

A muzzle loader is not a firearm by federal law but it is by state law. If the person is a felon but not one prohibited by state law from carrying a firearm (i.e. one of the 20? violent felonies) then a person may possess a muzzle loader. If the person has committed one of the felonies that state law defines as "Violent" then they may not possess one.
