My son got his first deer Sunday morning, a small 5 point. I am looking for a taxidermist in or near Decatur County. I had been using Woods and Water, but since it has been several years since I have needed one I can't seem to find him.
I'm wanting someone reasonable, but also experienced enough for the mount to survive the test of time.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I might be a little further than you want to travel but check out my web page if you are interested: www.wildlifere-creations.blogspot.comI have been doing taxidermy since for some time, I went to school for it in 1994. Have competed in competitions and try to keep up on the latest in the industry. I do have mounts all around the country, from Fl to WA. congrats to your son. Josh Isbell

I dabble in taxidermy! Here is one of my better mounts, and I would be proud to have the opportunity to mount your son's first deer! Just give me a call!

Email me some mount pics if you don't mind. The ex-FIL has decided to pay for Drik's deer for Christmas so he is going to choose where it is done. Thanks.
