Buster I didn't think that would be against the law to do the spot a deer from the road and then fallow up with a stalk of the animal. I am taking it as a car/truck deal in the way I am picturing it. Figure it might be different for 4-wheelers but are both not allowed? Thanks BB

It really boils down to the circumstances involved. In this case, as in the thread you mention, I say no violation. It would be different if he saw the buck running across the field, raced down the road to get in front of the deer, jumped out of the truck, stepped off the road and shot the deer. Now that would be in violation of hunting with the aid of a motorized conveyance.
