My son got a coot! ;D
We hunted at LaSalle and the water levels were pretty low. At one place I had the boat sitting on mudd. We were the only party in the afternoon on Saturday.

They boy I took out got 2 woodies and a super fat drake mallard. We could have busted a ton of woodies, but they were all hens! Missed quite a few mallards too. The marsh was hoppin.

wish we had some water down here, man even the wabash is really low, too low for me to get out in a boat on.
I have my youngest who is 11, never killed a duck before, maybe take him next week.

We took 11 kids Yesterday for the Delta Waterfowl youth hunt. They took 39 birds total. I think they took about every species there is (almost) The amount of ducks was insane
