Hey I'm Jason have lived here in elkhart county in the county seat for my whole 31 years. I grew up around hunting and fishing but haven't hunted in 13 years, don't know what got me off the trail but im back on it now. as a kid i hunted small and big game alike, now im just drawn to the "white tail". this is my first year back out in the woods in a long time. been reading up to relearn anything that i have forgotten, hope its like riding a bike.
I just found out that we can shoot pistol rounds from a rifle now so im pretty exited about trying that out. I went out and ordered a rossi 92 lever action with 20" barrel chambered in a .44 mag, cant wait for it to get in. has anybody else used this caliber from a rifle here in Indiana. i did a lot of research and it was a toss up from the .44 and the .357 do to the fact that the .357 would allow me to pop off .38 rounds for cheaper fun off season.
gettin off subject anyway just wanted to say glad to be aboard and ill you all around
Thanks, Jason
