I copied this from the HH site. I called Jonathan and reserved my tickets. They will accept payment at the door (check/cash/credit card) or you can call him to make reservations and provide the information over the phone.
The Wilbur Wright Chapter will have there banquet at 6:00 pm Friday June 23rd at the W.G Smith Bldg. in New Castle. This is the 2nd ever banquet in Henry County, the first one in 3 years. Anyone would be welcome to help this new group get an annual event going. The $300 raffle package is available for $100 if purchased ahead of time and includes 2 gun of the year tickets. More info can be had by contacting: Jonathan Ferris 765-529-5002 (Daytime) email: ferrisj@purdue.edu

I guess I need to thank everyone for NOT attending. Of course the NWTF sure could have used the additional attendance. Anyway I won the Marlin .17 HMR NWTF Veterans Commemorative rifle and the Remington NWTF 870 Super Mag shotgun. I also got some really great deals on a couple other items.

How many did show up Art? What was the banquet like? I've been to a few DU banquets, are they about the same as NWTF???

There were around 30 there. I guess if you take into consideration that this one was to get the chapter going again it was not that bad of a turn out. I've been to a few DU and RMEF chapter banquets that for some reason or another didn't do much better. The banquets I've gone to are all about the same (silent auction, live auction, raffles and games).

Hey guys don't forget the banquet for the Indiana Branch of the QDMA on August 19th. It will be at the Hamilton County Fairgrounds in Noblesville. Last year we had over 160. Like to certainly increase that number this year. The banquets are the major money making events for the local chapters.
