I'm looking at possibly picking up a 4-wheeler in the next 6 months or so. If funds work out and such. But have seen on here that a few of you have picked up some new ones and was wondering now that you have had them for a little while what do you think about them. Was it a good purchase and if you have had any problems did they take them back and fix them for you without any problem. Looking for somethign in the 500 or bigger range. Wanting to use this for spraying and planting food plots and for hauling firewood on a trailer. So need something with some power. No playing on this so looking for 4 wheel drive. If it's not asking to much what did you pay for yours and where did you get it at? I'm thinking the first of the year might be the best time and I can get an older model at a better price. So what do you guy's think. BB

The new models generally come out in the fall and they usually have a sale or two to get rid of last years models. I seen a flyer the other day for a local shop and they already had last years models on sale.

I have to say I love my Grizzly 700 fi.I wish I would have bought one years ago.I ride it just about every weekend. It has more than enough power.I've pulled a few big logs to clear some trails with no problems at all, they weighed a few hundred pounds or more.I haven't found anything where I need to use 4 wheel drive yet,it will go anywhere.I'm hoping to get a pull behind mower and a plotmaster next spring so I can do some food plots.About the only thing I don't like is the stock Dunlop tires. They seem a little flimsy to me.I'll be upgrading those soon. I bought mine at Foxs Cycle Sales in Bloomington for $8700 with a warn 2500lb winch.Looking back I wish I would have got the snow plow they had on it for a couple hundred more since winter will be here soon.I've had no problems at all with it.It does cost me around $40 to change the oil( I use Lucas atv oil). A guy sells some great used ones in bedford.Check out his site.Chances are if you're looking for something that's not listed on his site,he probably has it at his big building next to his house. www.bedrockcycle.com

Hey Crappiepro what made you go with the 550 instead of the 800? I'm looking to haul some wood with this out of some spoils and want to make sure I have something with the towing power to handle it and not stress the machine out to much. Did you drive the 800? Is there that much difference in the two to pay the extra $1,500? Thanks guy's for the info! BB

Bought my Polaris 500 from Indy powersports in Whitestown, IN. Bought the two year extended warranty and that was a joke. The starter went out so I took it to them, they tore it down then said the warranty wouldn't cover it because it looked like it had been wet before, Indy Powersports wouldn't cover it either. Went to pick my Quad up in pieces after a lot of arguing. My buddy has had problems with them to. Don't get me wrong, I do love Polaris but will never deal with Indy Powersports again.
