I would have called the CO and had her arrested for hunter harrassment.

A phone call was in order. Or you could of just kept hunting. She would of flipped out if a flock came in and you layed waste right in front of her!

It would have been funny if you shot a bird, and the falling bird knocked her off of her perch!

That's crazy. Some people just take the cake. Call Gotcha I am sure he'd love to go on a hunt with you to get an example for hunter harassment.

Had a couple guys in a boat do that a few years ago and litterly missed one by less than 2 feet with an 18lb bird. Gotta love those city park bread fed birds. Our C.O. went to their house after we had round 2 on the lake.

Did you consider popping off a couple of rounds (in a safe direction, of course), and scaring hte crap out her, making her fall off her log...

Well today we had an animal rights activist walk into our spread and start yelling at us about hunting and killing innocent geese. I civily explained the hunter harrassment law, and the fact that she was trespassing. Well lets just say after a visit from the local DNR officer tonight. Its pretty much a given that she will never ever do it again.

John,
You should have told her that you all do not kill "innocent geese" you all pick out just the gulity ones...
Kind fo reminds me of the movie True Lies where Arnold's wife finds out he is an agent and asks him if he ever killed anyone. He answered ," Yes, but they were all bahd".
You handled it right...

Funny thing is when i told her we were gonna call the CO she said go ahead, he is a dear friend of mine. When i pulled out my cell phone and started to dial his number she got quiet real quick. The local police showed up but she was gone by then. The CO paid her a visit that evening. (oh and this CO had no clue who the lady that was his dear friend was)

lol she tried, and failed to bluff you. My cousin and I were wade fishing for spawning bluegills on North Twin Lake in Lagrange County back in the 80's and a woman that was sunbathing on a dock nearby kept yelling at us for catching the "momma" fish, and told us that we were on private property (we were in the lake), and said she was going to call the CO. I told her to go ahead and call him, and we would keep fishing while we waited on him. She stormed in her house and never came back out. Her dad came out about 20 minutes later and asked if we were the guys his daughter was pestering. When I told him we were, he said, "Just ignore her, she thinks she's a flower child left over from the 60's". ;d

Myself and a friend had an issue with a police officer a couple years ago. Long story short, his daughter lived in the neighboring sub-division, apparently he and his daughter were antis, guy created a huge scene, he wasn't happy when he learned we were hunting legally and he couldn't do anything to stop it. He made some threatening remarks about us to other officers that arrived. Which was hilarious, this anti-hunting cop was trying to crucify us, while two other cops who happened to be hunters, were checking out my dog, the birds we killed, looking at our layout blinds, talking shotguns. Anyway this guy's recourse was to pull over every car he could out in front of our field. Full lights and sirens, making as much commotion as he could. I felt sorry for those drivers because I knew they were gonna get reamed. We contacted our local CO officer and made a report with internal affairs. Didn't have any problems after that.
