Gotta have that sprinkler! We didn't even plant anything since it has been so freaking dry down here!

Your plot looks nice but its a little thick. I found when you think you aren't putting enough seed on its just about right. Most all who plant pots sow too much seed for the area they are planting. Crowding plants wont let them mature to their full potential.
I planted turnips two weeks ago this Sunday and they are up and doing nice. I had a wet spot at the end that I couldn't plant. We've had so much rain up North it isn't funny. The corn and weeds are the tallest Ive seen in 40 years. Ive seen some horse weeds that are about 14' high. I'll put out fall wheat in late September. h.h.

We have not had any rain to speak of in well over 1 month. Neighbor tried to till up some plots and the dirt just floated away with the light breeze that day. Saw on Ag Day the other morning we are "abnormally dry" right now, what ever that means. I know our corn and beans are browning hard. Drove from Bedford to South Bend and the difference is incredible. Up north I saw ponds in places I've never noticed before, definately alot more water up there then here.

We have had 2tenths of an inch of rain since July 1. Lost almost all of my garden. Have not had to cut grass going on 5 weeks. Drier than a popcorn fart

It's been very warm here too, lots of days in the 90s this year. We finally got some rain, man did we need it! Could get some more tonight, probably get some seed put in the ground while there is a bit of moisture available.
