I called one in about 7:30 ,got him in to around 30 yards and the old 835 did the job. Not even a flop. 23 pounds, 11 inch beard, 1 1/8 inch spurs. I almost forgot the best part, I was wearing home made camo and sitting out in middle of a power line, no trees and no decoys. He couldn't see me at all. I'll post up pics as soon as I pick up the film.

sorry ww, I'll 1 hour the film and move it when I post the pics. That's fine. I just wanted to be sure that you got to count your bird in the "contest."

We need to see a pic of this awesome homemade camo! I'd love to see it. Is it like a ghillie (sp?) suit?

I didn't get the film in yesterday but will do it this morning. And yes it's a ghillie[sp] just like our snipers use, hand made, not from a kit. I've got some shots left on the camera so I'll veg it up and take a couple of pics of it in action, to show how it works. I'm happy to share info with anyone that would like to make one.
