As I was driving by our small local airport today I looked out on the lawn at the end of the runway and saw what looked like a half dozen volleyballs. I ran out and picked 2 Giant Puff ball mushrooms they were the size of a volleyball.
I sliced them up in 1/2" thick slices then fried them in olive oil with onions, put them on a bun with Parmesan cheese.
