Patoka Lake / South Monroe Lake

I just leased a farm in Crawford County for my deer hunting this year and would like to use it as a base camp for some duck trips also.

Can anyone give me hints/advice about hunting Patoka or the South end of Monroe? Any other spots close to Crawford County that are good besides the River?
