How about these apples?
ISR Alert
Thursday 29th, July 2010
Open letter from Natural Resources Commission
Dear Roundtable Member,
NRC Chairman Bryan Poynter sent this letter yesterday (click here, or see link at bottom of email). As you can see, the NRC is recognizing the high levels of public feedback that they are receiving on the Deer Proposals.
I did speak with Bryan last evening via phone, and his immediate objective is to get a renewed sense of the levels of support that these changes have inside the DNR and the stakeholder groups. He also restated his committment to having as many public input sessions as necessary during the next months so that people can have a chance to state their opinions. I told Bryan that as the ISR we were in process of scheduling general public meetings across the state with the goal of educating the deer hunting public on the background of the proposals, the goals for them, and the process used to develop them. Lastly, we will use these sessions to gather feedback from the attendees and communicate this back to the process.
Our first public meeting will be next at 7pm Thursday, August 5, at the Jennings County Library in North Vernon. Other meetings will be scheduled soon. As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to email me or to call at any time.

How about these apples?
They are ROTTEN to the core.
These yahoos had their say. They were the selected "stakeholders" and already gave their input and pushed their agendas and now they want more and don't want to let go of their power.
Get out of the way ISR and let the REAL stakeholders have their say for once without you "gathering feedback from the attendees and communicate this back to the process". There is a process set up for all in this state to give feedback to the NRC without it being filtered by an agenda driven "stakeholder group".
The IDNR said that they were going to have informational meetings around the state. Did they sub-contract it out to ISR? I don't think so.
And some thought we were paranoid because we thought there was behind the scenes shenigans going on.
This is WAR! It is the REAL Indiana stakeholder deer hunters against the wanabee DNR/NRC organized groups.
LOCK AND LOAD and keep those emails flying..

Reading between the lines here.....
Chairman Poynter is not comfortable with how the proposed rules are playing.
If he had the budget, he'd be on the phone with consultants instead of stakeholders asking for a quote to conduct a scientific poll.

Mr. Poynter,
Please do not put much weight in the feedback you receive from Gene Hopkins and the ISR public meetings. This is an attempt by the ISR to filter the feedback provided by a majority of Indiana's deer hunters. There are 200.00+ of us deer hunters in Indiana who feel we are not being given our full voice due to the the tactics being employed by the ISR, IDHA and the IBA. The DNR should be concerned with their own public meetings that are run, manned and attended by DNR employees, and not by these so called "stakeholder" groups who are only interested in pushing their "large antlered buck" agendas. This whole process has put a taint to the one part of our state government that I thought was on our side, and that could be trusted. Now I'm not so sure. All of these closed door meetings, ignoring public sentiment from your online poll and certain "stakeholder" groups getting inside information has made it abundantly clear that "good ol' boys" politics are alive and well in the IDNR. What a disappointment!
Sincerely,
Rod DeRoo Decatur, Indiana

As I stated this last evening that they- i.e. the "stakeholders " will go on offensive with the letter coming out and the DNR wavering and here it is . It is the same line of BS public meetings and then the false info of how all the "Poor Dumb ignorant Deer Hunters " have changed their mind since the Hero's the Round table came to all of our areas and spelled it out and helped us ignorant country folk understand "VOODOO" mystical deer management of less days and broken up seasons how it was gonna help em . The Mt. Pointer will be all happy that miraculously every person that went to the meetings were overcome with trophy mania and now understand that thay have been saved by the Stakeholders".
It is their first shot of many to discredit all of us who have taken the time to voice concern and displeasure with the policy changes . The next step will be the old well they are anarchists and trouble makers who just stir trouble .
This all happened with the OBR .Clear up to the last public meeting in Indianapolis where A certain stakeholder back then stood up and literally told myself and my group that we were ignorant and did not know what we were talking about . And here we sit 10 years later with the same size racked bucks and 1 month older deer in the herd ,and the buck kill only fell one year over the last 8 seasons of OBR and still no trophy buck in every woods behind every tree. So by gaugeing how this was such a huge failure this whole thig should be a monumental failure at best.
The slander and lies are about to start fling in the next few months and we will be the targets of this abuse wait and see since we are ignorant trouble makers. We better start really bring the number of those who do not support this and make sure we attend these meetings and give em hell right there infront of god and everyone or we will lose this war . Keep calling and sending letters it is our best chance at getting this thing tossed out.
