The NRC said -" In the coming weeks, we will work with DNR staff and biologists to determine if these are compelling reasons to take this step. Based on those findings, the proposed rules package may be amended; perhaps as early as out September meeting."
That does nto mean this is over. Far from it. The race is just begining and we can surge ahead or fall behind. It is up to each us what happens.
Comments via email to all members of the NRC and copied to various individuals in the DNR, including the leadership level, is what everyone should do immediately if they want to have input.
Conact them on ANY portion of the rules proposals. Until the final adoption EVERYTHING is in play here.
