Two bucks again in Indiana. With all the scientific evidence being slug out on other states deer herd management I never once seen this mentioned about Illinois's style of herd management. Just shortening and moving season.HMMMMM

Makes perfect sense if the goal is "herd reduction"....

Bucks are deer too, right?
The ONLY way we will ever see two buck limit again is IF the second buck is an EAB....

EAB would be fine with me as well. I shoot my fair share of doe's... And I've had to let two nice bucks walk in the last three years because I had already taken one. And one of the ones I got was just hit by a car and I was putting it down.... Makes total sense though... So obviously we can't do it!!! BB

BB You should not have to use your buck tag for a deer hit by a car. Just ask a law officer to swing by and issue you a permit to possess the carcass... as long as it was hit by a vehicle.

I have a very good friend who lives in Illinois [transplanted Hoosier] and he can rant for hours about how their system sucks. Do you want FOID too?
