The state is being very generous with the numbers of deer that can be taken and the use of crossbows in the Urban hunts. But if you're a guy like me who lives in the "sticks" and doesn't know any landowners in Urban areas...how do we get to participate? Will the state be providing a list of state properties that can be hunted within Urban zones or do we send a note to the "Chamber of Commerce"? Inquiring minds want to know.

I could be wrong but I do not know of any public ground included in the urban zones. I suppose the new areas they are proposing to add up north may include some public.

I live in an urban deer zone and have yet found anyone to let me hunt. Deer all over the place, but no one will allow me to help reduce the herd. ![:'(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/cry.png) So with that - if anyone would let me hunt in Marion or Hamilton county let me know! I will split the meat.
